There are a number of succession options available to private businesses in the UK. We have learned that that the most successful succession transitions occur when (1) business owners have had an opportunity to explore all of the succession options available to them and (2) a bespoke succession plan is prepared to meet the individual needs and objectives of exiting owners and their businesses.

The purpose of the Web Portal is to prepare a Succession Options Overview that provides information on some of the succession options that may be suitable for you and your business. The Overview is based on the information you provide us on your business and your attitude to a number of succession objectives.

We hope that the Succession Options Overview will help identify the succession solution that is most appropriate for you and your business. You are welcome to provide as much or as little information as you are comfortable with. The more information you can provide, the more accurate our recommendations will be.

The form will ask for details about your business and its ownership, what your succession objectives are, and some financial information about the business. It will take around 15 minutes to complete if you have all this information on hand.

Please note that we reserve the right to issue only one Succession Options Overview to each organisation / applicant per month.

Use of Data

Baxendale will use the personal and business information you have provided solely for the purpose of preparing a Succession Options Overview report and subsequently contacting you in relation to the Overview. We will not share this information with any other party (other than as permitted by our privacy policy), and it will be held in the strictest confidence.
